I’M at a loss to understand the antagonism to the “look” or appearance of the “artificial” windmills.
When they were first on the continent, we were taken to see them as a tourist attraction and we thought they were quite intriguing and fascinating.
Not like the huge electricity pylons which were, or are, a blot on the landscape.
I can understand people being incensed if they are a useless expense, but to be so enraged by their appearance as if they are hideous monstrosities as Richard Cook does, calling them visual pollution, seems totally over the top.
In the photo you put in the Echo, they look quite graceful. Cool down, Richard.
