WHY is it that when there is a strike or inclement weather, Bitterne Park suffers more than most?
There was a refuse collectors’ strike last Thursday. We expected the rubbish to be collected one day later – no. So a week later, will be when they call.
The smell is horrendous in this heat, and there are at least 80 black sacks on the pavement outside the Triangle shops.
We pay the same council tax as everyone else, so why are we the only ones to suffer?
