IS IT my imagination or are a lot of Saints fans suffering from amnesia?

In 2009 we were on our way to League 2 and possible liquidation.

Markus Liebherr and his family came from nowhere to not only save the club, but then take us to eighth in the Premier League.

Our present situation is not the fault of the management or owner, but the disloyalty of certain players who think a contract means nothing.

If Rodriguez and Schneiderlin want to go, then go. They will disrupt the dressing room and won’t give 100 per cent on the field.

I want to see players who are proud and committed to playing for our club.

Let’s show Katharina the gratitude that she and her family so rightly deserve by getting behind the team and the new manager.

JOE LOCKYER, Southampton.
