Should Scotland get Independence, what happens about the emergency services? Will the Police, Fire fighters, Ambulance call outs (land & air), sea rescue, and so on, end at the border? If a service from say England crossed the border, I presume they then send a bill to Scotland, who then won’t pay it. As they will be stony broke.
There will have to be border control, especially if one nation no longer belongs to the EU. Who foots the bill for that?
How on earth can 5.5 million people population decide the fete of over 62 million UK citizens? That is NOT democracy.
As from next Friday, if the Scots decide to go for Independence, I for one will ever again buy another bottle of Whisky, distilled there.
And should many fellow Brits agree with that move. Combined, it will have a huge effect upon their economy.
Now please imagine the effect upon us leaving the EU.
Little England, competing against the largest trading block in the World.!
