UNITED Kingdom independence must surely mean independence from all foreign countries, not merely from Europe.
So why does UKIP have no policy to rid us of the baleful influence of the USA?
This country is awash with US films and television programmes, US-owned newspapers and media channels, US firms, US clothes and fashion.
Our dates are now American – 9/11 has now become the 11th of September instead of the 9th of November.
Over and above all this, the US has military bases on the soil of the UK. We allow a foreign power to use us in order to further its own military ambitions. Despite all this, the silence from UKIP is positively deafening! Could any of the regular UKIP contributors please tell me why we should vote for a party which is so obviously not what it says on the tin?
