REGARDING banks scams, earlier in the year we had a call from someone saying they were from Nationwide investigating an attempted fraud on our credit card.

Although in the past we have had two such frauds, we were suspicious.

We said we would go to Nationwide and sort it out. “Oh they won’t be able to help” they said.

However, we went to Nationwide.

The young lady checked all our details and said there is nothing flagged against your account. End of.

It is easier to go to the bank, etc, personally and check as we did .
