In your article, Nov 5, MP, Desmond Swayne (Conservative) is claiming that to be outside of the EU, is not to our advantage.
He agrees with the Liberal Democrats, that the European Union is not prefect, and needs changes. So why is he not a Liberal? Make it happen!
I ask the same question of David Cameron. Let’s have a proper, strong centre ground Liberal element within the Liberal Democrats.
I have a feeling many Conservatives would be quite happy with that, as would a lot of Labour people.
The New Forest has had a Liberal MP before, as did most of our United Kingdom.
Richard Grant, Burley.
