Can I please just have five minutes of your time to ask parents and grandparents who get an invitation to see their children or grand-children perform their Christmas carols or show to do so?
I was one of those who had the privilege to see a performance at the Southampton Guildhall, A Concert of Christmas Music, on December 4.
It was wonderful.
Children as young as six years sang their hearts out to the audience.
To sit, watch and listen to those angelic voices brought a tear to my eye or in some cases a lump to my throat.
I would like to thank all the performers and all the adults who gave their time to bring out the best in the children for this special performance.
Well done everyone, be proud of what you achieved Thank you, performing schools: Sholing Infant, Thornhill Primary, Moorlands Primary, Highfield Church of England, Glenfield Infant.
I watched my granddaughter with great pride and joy. Thank you one and all Mrs M Stafford, Sholing Southampton.
Thank you one and all
Mrs M Stafford,
Sholing Southampton.
