Guildhall Square
SHORTLY after 4pm on Saturday, December 13, I told a Southampton shopkeeper about the Christmas street party going on just up the road in Guildhall Square.
He looked at me askance. “What’s that all about?” he enquired suspiciously.
I rest my case. Scrooge is alive and well and living in Southampton.
