I see Saints manager Ronald Koeman says we must learn from our recent defeats.

Well, I hope he has learnt not to play players who seem to need a rest.

I know the squad is very short on real talent, but it is very clear that some players need to recoup to find their best form again.

Tadic is one who really sticks out at the moment. You can see he has lost the form he was showing so to let him take the spot kick was madness as it would have not done him any good.

I would let Clyne take any more spots kicks we get as he could just blast it in like another full-back we had many years ago, David Peach.

The one player we are really missing is Morgan; he really runs that midfield.

It is really clear for all to see that come January we must keep hold of Morgan and Nathaniel at all costs. Maybe now would be a good time to give Reed his big chance to prove he can make it to the top level.

Come on, you Saints, let’s win one of the cups this year and finish as high as we can in the league.
