THE organisers, assistants and helpers worked very hard to entertain us with music, Christmas songs and carols last Saturday evening in Guildhall Square, Southampton, putting out tables and chairs and supplying us with free hot drinks, cakes and mince pies.
I think the very cold weather stopped a lot of people from attending, which was a pity after all the effort that was put in to make it a festive occasion and to bring us the meaning of Christmas.
This is to say thank you to all those kind people who gave us their time.
MRS B ROBINSON, Southampton.
