I WAS on the Immigration Street television show protest march on Saturday, and at the subsequent public meeting, attended, as the Daily Echo article states, by more than 50 people.
Immediately preceding the march, an escorting police officer reminded me that there are 252,000 people in Southampton.
Not much of a showing, then, against a major threat to the harmony of our local communities!
As the saying goes, “There’s so much apathy in the world today, but then, who cares?”
