MAY I comment on the statement by Stephen Hooper?
It was stated that Stephen was driving along the beach.
No, Mr Hooper, you were not driving along the beach. The beach is the land above the high tide mark! The land below the high tide mark is usually known as the mud flats, where you must have been driving.
So, Mr Hooper, had you been on the beach there is no way your car could end up in 3-4ft of water.
Sorry, but a beach is a beach. Your warning, Stephen, should be don’t drive on a mud flat.
