IN Saturday’s In My View the Daily Echo printed a letter from reader Ian Ritchie claiming that Southampton MPs Alan Whitehead and John Denham are both standing down at the coming election.
Only John Denham is stepping down as an MP ahead of this year’s General Election.
Alan Whitehead will be standing for election in Southampton Test as the Labour candidate.
The Daily Echo is happy to clarify this.
