AS it stands, we have a Prime Minster who it is presumed will not loss his seat at the General Election and yet leads the most split political party in this country– that is, should they have the most seats after May 7 they will have an internal fight over whether we remain members of the European Union.

With the Liberals, you know they want us to stay, providing there are no major changes which would have an adverse affect upon us here in Britain.

You have the Labour Party, who now have possibly the most unpopular leader, selected by them and the trade unions – a political party which over the last century has destroyed our reputation around the world via strike actions and no real understanding of business or finances.

Now there is UKIP, who have a leader who fights his own family!

That is, he admits his family are French immigrants, he has, German relatives, his party has many immigrant supporters and members and yet seem to have a hatred of anyone else who wants to come here to work and live.

They forget, we Brits can leave and work or live anywhere in the EU without too much bother.

Indeed, the whole of the union is an open door for British business to take advantage. We are the third largest member country. We should be leading, not leaving.

The Scottish National Party wants independence from the UK, which leaves them without any military force, a recession and mass unemployment. The Liberal Democrats have always said Scotland could be self-governing but remain part of our United Kingdom. That is the same view in respect of Wales and Northern Ireland.

And the Liberals have governed Scotland, England and Wales.

Indeed in 1906 they held a landslide victory.

It does seem to me, that the UK ought to be Liberal once again.

They do need more younger members, perhaps to stand as councillors, later as MPs and MEPs. It can be a well paid career.

Don’t write off the Liberal Democrats just because the media presume the Conservatives or Labour are the only parties who can have the keys to No. 10 Downin Street. It is for YOU to decide, not them.

I would like to see Nick and Miriam have a calming affect over the next five years, as would the EU and I expect the world beyond.

I am fed up with extremists.
