AN amusing letter from Alex Shepherd of Totton, when as many other writers like to do, came back with a response to my own letter full of inaccuracies.

Alex should, I would have thought be spending their time, attacking UKIP, not the Liberal Democrats.

They, with Nick Clegg as Deputy Prime Minster, had to prop up David Cameron and the Conservatives for the past 5 years.

Alex also quoted Polls, which are often not worth bothering with. The same, as in respect, when other readers, write referring to opinions from those who may have written a book, or a column.

So what! It is only their opinion, as are my own, when I write letters here.

To correct Alex, the Polls I have seen on television does not put the Liberal Democrats behind the Greens.

But the odd thing is, if that is his/her view, then why are they so concerned with my support for a centre ground Liberal Party?

Or is it that, the truth be own, the New Forest is in fact Liberal.

Alex Shepherd is right in pointing not that the SNP, will be an interference should they gain too many Scottish seats. Scotland where, the Conservatives are all but wiped out.

I say to the people in New Forest West and East, give the Liberal Democrats the opportunity to see if they can do better.

After all, Messrs. Swayne & Lewis, have achieved nothing in the time they have been the MP’s here. As far as I am aware.

RICHARD GRANT, Burley.
