Store closure
AS regular visitors to Southampton from Eastbourne we are dismayed at the closure of Tesco’s Home Plus store.
This store was always our first destination from our base at the Ibis hotel complex opposite.
Some 80 people have lost their employment and it will be a sad loss of trade for other outlets in that complex of retail stores.
With Matalan also closing last year, the shopping will not be the same in Southampton anymore.
