PLEASE could you get James Johnson to give a more rounded report of mass cycling events (Daily Echo, April 13)?
He would not have needed to delve very deeply to discover that “without a hitch” does not accurately describe the events.
Maybe the organisers and cyclists had no hitch, but other road users have a good many to report.
And please may we see photos of locals cheering at the side of the road?
Are they not more likely to be competitors’ friends and relatives?
