ON April 15 my wife fainted in the Card Shop in Bitterne, Southampton – or so we thought.
After the paramedics had concluded their tests she was found to have had a heart attack. Within the hour more tests confirmed the diagnosis and she was taken to Southampton General Hospital, where she received the finest care, and she was allowed home on Friday night.
I just want to thank all the people who helped her during this trying time. Not just the medics but also the people in the Card Shop, especially the two assistants. Everybody was so kind and helpful.
Members of the public really come to the front when the chips are down.
