How long is it until anyone listens to views of public?
I totally agree with Colin Smith’s letter ‘Time to pull the plug on the HS2 public sector vanity scheme’ but like other projects, how often are the public listened to?
The estimated cost of £80 billion could be used where it is needed.
Plus it affects so many lives – all for a faster train. But once again the Conservatives have got it wrong.
