YET another letter was published, July 8, this time ‘name and address supplied’, having a pop at me.

If the writer believes in the content of their comments why withhold their identity?

The clue is that they made reference to the fact, they are part Irish, and French.

They welcome the idea that I ought to leave my country, if I am unhappy with it.

Firstly, being an EU member, I could do that.

Secondly, I have no wish to.

They refer to the European Union as a Quango. That is an insult to all member countries, and their populations.

The largest trading block in the World.

They mentioned the non-existence of the Liberal Democrat party.

Again, not true.

It is UKIP who have only one MP and I would not be too surprised if before long, they will not even have him.

The writer says they have heard a rumour that Nigel Farage is looking for a small cottage in Burley.

I ask them here to prove that. Or shall I write to Mr Farage?

I do not object to a little banter within these letters pages. But not darn right lies.
