THERE are kayakers, walkers, fishermen and others who drive to the car park at the Eastern end of Weston Shore, to attend club events, and they leave their vehicles in the prime parking places facing Southampton Water thus blocking the prime parking places to others for most of the day.
Thus many elderly, infirm and otherwise handicapped people, who make brief visits to the shore, are then deprived of the prime parking spaces facing the sea.
It would be nice if drivers attending such club events could be considerate enough, after unloading their equipment, to leave their vehicles either at the landward side of the car park or in the Westwood car park across the road.
