MAY I through your paper's letter section, invite all the good people of the Romsey area to take part in this years Remembrance day parade in Romsey Memorial Park at 11am.
Afterwards there will be a service in Romsey Abbey on Sunday, November 8.
There will also be a short service in the park on Wednesday, November 11 at 11am.
I shall be standing down as the legion organiser after this years’ parade.
My thanks to the Romsey town hall staff, all the organisations who have taken part over the past eight years or more.
Without all of these people, Romsey would not have such a successful event.
Not least, my thanks go to the good people of Romsey and the surrounding area for their support.
