Here we go again.

Tim Bonner of the Countryside Alliance is whinging about the Hunting Act which he mistakenly thinks will be repealed.

He said he had hoped for small amendments to the Act which would have varied the number of hounds allowed by hunts when flushing mammals out to be shot.

A farmer has the right to shoot a predator if it's attacking his stock, but I cannot understand why anyone would want to flush out a wild animal from its natural habitat to be shot in the name of sport.

I am sure the Hunting Act is here to stay because thankfully the hunting fraternity are outnumbered by voters who care about our wild animals and detest cruelty. I would like to see the Countryside Alliance consigned to history.
