AFTER just hearing that the Premier League clubs are sitting down to discuss how the £8 billion will be split, I hope Saints follow West Ham’s example and cut their ticket prices, and not follow greedy Liverpool’s example.
West Ham are cutting their season tickets by about 50 per cent half and Liverpool are increasing their most expensive tickets from £59 to £77.
How can clubs justify the increase when they are going to receive a huge TV payout?
Please Saints, look after your fans and not force those who can just about afford a ticket from giving up attending altogether, if you increase ticket prices.
I have said it before, look at the German league and the way they treat their fans.
Hopefully we can march on!
