Mr Alan Kebbell seems to think I don’t always get my facts correct (Letters, February 29).

I always get my facts correct, Mr Kebbell, and if you had my qualifications and experience then you would likewise.

It isn’t my fault if others distort the truth because they have another agenda or because they don’t listen properly when in attendance at meetings and events.

It will also be propitious if in future your correspondents write letters on their own behalf as distinct from inveigling other less sagacious individuals to sign letters which they have drafted.

Hearsay is not evidence.
