HERE we are in December, and Southampton FC are still fighting on all major fronts in all competitions.
So just who was this Ronald Koeman, we now have super Saints boss Claude Puel.
Let’s hope his first season is a memorable one.
Semi-finalists in the EFL Cup, still very much alive in both the Europa League and Checkatrade Trophy, with a couple more wins in the Premier League we will also yet again be knocking on the door for European action next season.
Let’s not get carried away, but the last time we picked up a major trophy was way back in ‘76.
The way we are playing at the moment, I do not think any team would like to be drawn against us in the FA Cup.
Fingers crossed and hopefully our long-suffering supporters will have some silverware and a lot to cheer about at the end of the season.
The Red N’ White Army are on the march!
Happy days. COYR!
Dave Cooper, Southampton.
