IN REPLY to Richard Pinfield and his dazzling lights, Auto Start Stop is intended to be used with your hand brake on out of gear and foot off brake pedal.
This is how all cars should be when stopped at traffic lights and junctions for any period of time.
The hand brake is to stop cars shunting into the car in front and, as if by magic, you have no more blinding lights.
