I RECENTLY worked for a well known company with red vans.
I thought ‘hey they’ll be good to work for’ that is until I got there.
I was never told at the interview that I wasn’t allowed any holiday in December, or I had to book holidays 18 months in advance, I would only get three breaks in three weeks, walking miles without no toilet break or even a sip of water.
Oh and when you fall over in trainers provided, there’s no manager to report it to.
People not being paid overtime is a regular occurrence.
The managers, who are they? I don’t know. Not one of them introduced themselves to me.
I had no choice but to resign, oh and in the leavers pack there was a helpline to phone but no-one wants to discuss your concerns or money owed, so why provide a helpline?
Never known or heard of management or a company run like it.
