MANY years ago Marks & Spencers ran their fleet of HGVs on propane gas. It is a very clean fuel which would pay for itself in about one year.
If councils are serious about cutting pollution they should consider converting their vehicles.

I once had a Citroen Picasso which only did about 30 miles to the gallon. However, after a gas conversion it did 60-70. During its MOT emissions test, it was so clean it barely registered. I saved roughly £1,000 plus per year.
A no brainer.
