I READ with amazement Martin Kyrle's letter of July 24. I walk by the new allotment sites in the South Road area daily, and they are mostly overgrown and unused except for the odd plot. This has been the case since they were laid out, at least two or maybe three years ago.
He should get his facts right, by visiting and viewing these sites for which there is a waiting list!
