I WENT to the Guildhall square on Friday evening, and then to the new theatre to watch The Shadow Factory.
I came away feeling really proud to be a Sotonian.
The young dancers in the square were incredible. The spitfire was amazing, as were the fireworks. The Guildhall was lit up and all the trees had lights in them.
After this wonderful display I went to the new theatre and saw The Shadow Factory. Simply incredible. The professional actors were brilliant. The community chorus (all local Sotonians) were also brilliant.
This city is now becoming a place that we can all be proud of. Congratulations to all involved.
