The article on Father's 4 Justice founder and Romsey resident Matt O'Connor's campaign to be the next Mayor of London (Daily Echo, January 17) made no mention of the fact that he is standing as a candidate for the English Democrats Party.
The website of the English Democrats www.englishdemocrats.org.uk quotes him as saying that "Council tax rises in England with none in Scotland along with the fiasco concerning the English police force pay is yet another example as to why the English people need to be governed by an English Government, not by a Scottish-led British Government".
He goes on to say that "An English Parliament is required now - it is the only fair solution. Only the English Democrats are offerring this solution".
