MAY I suggest that the next jobsworth from the UK Border Agency who gloats over the deportation of Zimbabweans back to their own country to face certain torture or death is made to accompany them, so that he may be educated on the realities of what is happening elsewhere on the planet we live on (Daily Echo, May 16).
It would be far better if we showed compassion for those of previous good character with a valid reason to seek refuge here, and deported those enemies of civilised society who may face justified retribution in their own countries instead.
