FOR £300,000 the village of Marchwood will receive a safe and healthy cycle route.

The Government should donate the money, encouraging people to walk, jog and cycle to work and shops, increasing their fitness and well-being.

This proposed cycle route should not be held up for financial reasons.

David Harrison, you have mine and I’m sure all of Marchwood village’s full support.

A further extension is also needed to link Hythe and Dibden.
