Proud to be a ‘Little Englander’

TK Tew tells us that almost nightly he is force-fed anti European views – by whom, on what progammes and in which newspapers? I’d very much like to hear and read them. If he doesn’t like what he hears, why not turn off his radio/television and stop reading the newspapers?

He sneeringly refers to Little Englanders but if that means that I want my taxes, laws, the ability to deport people we don’t want and other matters decided by MY elected Members of Parliament rather than nonentities, from the Baltic states and Romania for example, then I am proud to plead guilty to being a Little Englander.

He cannot seriously think a referendum would favour membership of an elite, corrupt and self-serving bunch of useless freeloaders and which organisation can’t even get its accounts audited and signed off because of that corruption.

He gives a list of the things that will never return (capital punishment, corporal punishment and grammar schools) so he had better hope that we don’t have a referendum on them!

Their disappearance is a contributory factor towards the soft do-gooders’ treatment of criminals and the ill educated being produced by our schools.

Get out of the EU, strengthen our ties with the Commonwealth countries, enter into separate trading agreements with the European countries (bring back EFTA?), decide our own laws and taxes and we’ll forge ahead.
