It is neither the unions nor the Labour party that have got their way. It is the electorate who have got their way.

If you did not realise that at the age of 84, no wonder you describe yourself as Perplexed Resident.
I'll agree, the residents have voted. Whilst the Union members are probably wetting their undies in excitement, I'm wondering if Labour will actually feed them the sweeties they wanted.

Time will tell, I look forward to the funds being spread........"

Union rule?

NOW that the unions and the Labour Party have got their way, will they reinstate those people made redundant and whose wages were cut?

I wonder where the money will come from to pay for all this, as well as trying to reduce the debt the last Labour council incurred?

Borrow more money!

Will it be the Labour Party running the council or the unions who seem to have a lot of influence with the Labour Party? Time will tell.

PERPLEXED RESIDENT, aged 84 (Name & address supplied).
