I DROVE into the Shell petrol station on Southampton Road, Hythe.
As I was about to put petrol in my car a young gentleman (member of staff) asked me if I needed any help. I said I could manage what I was doing, but would it be possible for him to check my tyre pressures? Squatting down causes considerable pain in my lower back.
He said he would do anything I needed, wash the windscreen, number plates, etc.
The young man explained that this was a new service, and I was very grateful for his help.
Well done Shell. This is customer service at its very best. I know where I will be going from now on!
As Michael Holliday sang on the TV adverts in the 50s, “I’m going well, I’m going Shell, you can be sure of Shell.”
