Strange to say

I NOTE a media article giving news of the British Government’s intention to get the Chinese Government to build UK nuclear power stations. At the same time, it is reported that American military is stating that a high percentage of equipment being purchased from Chinese Government outlets is proving to be counterfeit and/or having attributes not required under the terms of the purchasing contract.

How strange.

This phenomenon was also noted some years ago by the American Electrical Power supply system engineers. Again, how strange.

Exactly what are Mr Cameron and his Energy Secretary trying to achieve?

BARRY BURTON, Fareham.
