I think you should vote UKIP
10:33am Thursday 28th June 2012 in Readers' Letters
RICHARD Grant (Letters, June 19) talks of our financial centre (London) and impressive economy and standing on our own politically.
Well it’s fundamentally rather simple. Quoting his phrase we “used to” we still can!
The EU have deprived us of these attributes. All we have to do is free ourselves from the shackles of this dictatorship in Brussels.
By ousting the coalition, we then vote in UKIP administration and allow our country to enjoy these things he refers to again. Just for the record, I don’t think we are Europeans, nothing like them!
P HOUSE, UKIP Eastleigh.

So because you dont happen to regard Alan kebble as worthy of your vote you would vote for another party? or worse still not at all! while Mr Kebble may not have all the attributes you look for in a candidate surely you can see the bigger issues at stake here and the need for change in our parliament if we are to be a free country afgain.I wonder if you have considered perhaps standing yourself if you feel you have something more to offer than Mr Kebble ? there is always room in UKIP for people who want to do something to help rather than sit on the outside complaining , look forward to offering a warm welcome ?
I was through to being interviewed for several seats with the Tory Party but wasn't successful at being the candidate.
I was annoyed & looked for another party.
You seemed to be the one but just a leaflet?
Then I heard Keeble's Anti Tory Rants & his pro left wing Labour posts & letters & I decided to stay Tory.
As long as he's part of your party in Southampton you have as much chance as the TUSC.
get rid of him & I feel your votes & membership will increase.
Also with the strong feeling against Eastern EU migration into this city I can't understand why you don't concentrate on Labour areas as I feel you could/would win/gain major advances in these areas.
please get back to me on your thoughts of this post Thank You
