In reply to the letter from C Smith of Totton Tories (June 23), I have counted about 20 letters in the last two months or so, often anonymous, with titles such as “The Labour Waste”, “Cost of Labour”, “Labour- BBC coalition”.
You attack me for highlighting this little campaign of yours, and state that my opinions are as something from North Korea. This demonstrates just how extremely right-wing your own views are.
No doubt the leaders of Greece, Spain and the USA will be pleased with your news that it was all the fault of Gordon Brown, and not their lax banking regulations.
Also, our three million unemployed will be delighted with your remedy of saving more, paying less tax, and lower spending. There are some of us who believe that forcing our economy into such a severe recession is wrong, and we don’t all come from Cuba.
