Fewer councillors means cash to keep pool open

JUST writing in regards to the letter that Sally Spicer wrote.

She missed the point that Mr L A Obee was trying to make to save the taxpayer money – that if all the wards in Southampton have just one or two councillors it would save so much money that they could probably keep the pool open at Oaklands for young and old alike.

I have stood twice as an Independent candidate in the Coxford ward against Sally and Keith Morrell.

The following time I stood in Millbrook ward and the Socialist Party asked me to stand aside to make it easier for them to gain victory.

It’s always a two-horse race.

Is this the Sally Spicer who said she would move heaven and earth to save the pool, only to vote for it to close a few days later.

the same Councillor Sally Spicer that she would fully support and help my dad after losing his job and home after 42 years of service to The Cemeteries accross Southampton. Who also quoted the same sentance.."we will move Heaven and Earth to campaign against Soton city councils decision, and that was in May.......We havnt heard from any local coucillors/local mps. ALL THEY MANAGE IS TO GIVE FOLK FALSE HOPES N EMPTY PROMISES!!!!!!!!!!!!
