HAIGH ALAN JOHN 28th May 1933- 24th May 2013 It is with profound sadness that the passing is announced of our dear Friend Alan, who bore his punishing illness with tenacity and fortitude, giving a cheerful word for all as he passed through life. He served on the Queen Mary and as CSO for British Airways for many years, was a keen club member, participating in all aspects, and in later years became a Life member of Chandlers Ford Central Club. Grateful thanks are extended to the staff of Shawford Ward, RHCH for their dedicated attention to his well being. ---------- His Funeral is to be held at Southampton Crematorium, East Chapel, on Friday 7th June at 2.45 p.m. Flowers if so desired, and any donations, please, to the RNLI and Missions to Seafarers.
