HARRYMAN Reginald Dennis (Denny)

Passed away suddenly Feb 3, 2021, aged 86. Dennis will be greatly missed by daughter Melanie, son Darren, son in law Norman, daughter in law Andie, grandchildren Daniel (Erin), Jennifer, Damon, Denni, Ashley and great granddaughters Devon and Spencer, as well as many nephews and nieces. Reunited with his beloved wife Dingle. Dennis was a lifelong Southampton resident who had the honour of being Mayor of the City 2004 – 2005, and a highly respected Labour councillor from 1999 – 2008. A former merchant seaman, dock worker and TGWU Union Negotiator, Dennis loved his city and worked hard to always champion the underdog. Due to the current Covid restrictions, the service for Dennis will be family and invited attendees only. No flowers by request. Donations if desired for the  IFAW, the RSPCA, Dogs Trust and The Blue Cross { Cheques payable to each charity individually please} or to donate online at: dennisharryman.muchloved.com.
