ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)(a) THE A30 AND A303 TRUNK ROAD (HONITON - PARKHOUSE CROSS) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION AND PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)(a) THE A30 AND A303 TRUNK ROAD (HONITON - PARKHOUSE CROSS) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION AND PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (a) has made an Order on the A30 and A303 trunk roads in the Counties of Devon, Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire to allow maintenance works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place commencing on or after 6 January 2020 and be completed by 23 December 2020. The effect of the Order will be to:
(a) authorise the overnight closure (19.00 - 06.00) of the A30 and A303 eastbound and westbound between Honiton and Parkhouse Cross Interchange (A338);

(b) authorise the closure of:

(i) all slip roads leading to and from the above lengths of the A30 and A303;

(ii) authorise the closure of the laybys on the above lengths of the A30 and A303;

(iii) the gaps in the central reservation on the above lengths of the A30 and A303;

(c) impose a mandatory 50 mph speed limit on the above lengths of the A30 and A303;

(d) impose a mandatory 40 mph speed limit on the above lengths of the A30 and A303;

(e) impose a mandatory 30 mph speed limit on the above lengths of the A30 and A303;

(f) impose a mandatory 20 mph speed limit on the above lengths of the A30 and A303;

(g) impose a mandatory 10 mph speed limit on the above lengths of the A30 and A303 whilst convoy working is taking place;

 (h) to prohibit overtaking on the above length of the A30 and A303.

During the closures traffic will be diverted via junctions of the A30 and A303 and local roads.
The duration of each closure will vary depending on the nature of the maintenance work being undertaken on each occasion.

The closures (which will not apply to emergency service, traffic officer or works vehicles), speed limits and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works.
The Order will come into force on 4 January 2020 and have a maximum duration of 18 months.
THE A36 TRUNK ROAD (BATH TO OWER) (TEMPORARY
RESTRICTION AND PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (a) has made an Order on the A36 trunk road in Bath and North East Somerset and the Counties of Somerset, Wiltshire and Hampshire to allow maintenance works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place commencing on or after 6 January 2020 and be completed by 23 December 2020. The effect of the Order will be to:
(a) Authorise the overnight closure (19.00 - 06.00) of the A36 between Bath and M27 Junction 2;

(b) authorise the closure of:

(i) all slip roads leading to and from the above length of the A36;

(ii) the laybys on the above lengths of the A36;

(iii) the gaps in the central reservation on the above length of the A36;

(c) impose a mandatory 50 mph speed limit on the above length of the A36;

(d) impose a mandatory 40 mph speed limit on the above length of the A36;

(e) impose a mandatory 30 mph speed limit on the above length of the A36;

(f) impose a mandatory 20 mph speed limit on the above length of the A36;

(g) impose a mandatory 10 mph speed limit on the above length of the A36 whilst convoy working is taking place;

(h) to prohibit overtaking on the above length of the A36.
