Notice of application to Vary a Premises Licence
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an application has been made to the licensing authority of Fareham Borough Council to vary the premises licence under section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003
Premises: The Sir Joseph Paxton, 272 Hunts Pond Road, Fareham, PO14 4PF
Applicant: David Roseby on behalf of The Pub and Grub Company Limited 3 Acorn Business Centre Northarbour Road Cosham Hampshire PO6 3TH
Details of the variation are as follows: Remove condition 33 Reword condition 55 to read – “Cease the use of the smoking area to the front of the premises by dismantling the covered area and provide a smoking area to the Netley Road side of the premises. Smoking to the front of the building will be actively discouraged by staff. Patrons will be asked to move to the purpose built smoking area to the side of the building.” Reword condition 56 to read - Only seating area permitted in carpark will be in area marked ‘A’.
A copy of the statutory register may be inspected during normal office hours at the address shown below.
Any responsible authority or interested party wishing to make representations on this matter must submit those representations in writing to: The Licensing Officer, Fareham Borough Council, Civic Way, Fareham, PO16 7AZ by no later than 28 days from the date of this notice.
The closing date for representations is: 17th June 2021
ANY REPRESENTATIONS WILL BE NOTIFIED TO THE APPLICANT AND WILL BE CONSIDERED BY THE LICENSING AUTHORITY.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application. Such an offence is liable to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale (£5,000).
