LICENSING ACT 2003 NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A VARIATION OF PREMISES LICENCE
Notice is given that application has been made to the Licensing Authority at Southampton City Council for a variation of a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003. The Licensing activities affected by this variation are supply of alcohol on the premises, the provision of regulated entertainment, the provision of late night refreshment. Details of the Application are as follows:- Name of the Applicant, Southampton Football Club Limited Postal address of the Premises, St Mary's Stadium, Britannia Road, Southampton SO14 5FP
Brief description of proposed variation to the premises:-
1. Extension of timings for provision of licensable activities to between 10.00am -02.00am on the following morning and all days of the week including Sundays.
2. Extension of opening hours for stadium to 9.00am - 02.00am on all days of the week including Sundays.
3. Increase in occupancy for hospitality suites as per application.
4. Variation of match day arrangements.
(i) supply and consumption of alcohol may take place during a designated sporting event provided that the consumption of alcohol is not within site of the pitch whilst play is in progress.
(ii) all stadium bars permitted to sell alcohol, hot drink and food.
(iii) hatched areas in front of bars to be deleted.
(iv) access permitted between Dell Sports Bar and concourse on match days subject to conditions.
(v) permission to spectators to exit the stadium to stewarded areas at half time for consumption of alcohol subject to conditions.
5. Deletion of conditions in Annex 2 Paragraph 1(a)-(w) and (z) transferred from public entertainment licence.

Any responsible authority or interested party wishing to make representations on the matter must submit these representations in writing to The Licensing Team, Southampton City Council, PO Box 1767, Southampton, SO18 9LA by no later than 28 days from the date of this notice.
