1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the 'Prescribed Route' Order would be to consolidate the provisions of the Orders specified in the Schedule below into one Order, which would operate between 8.30am and 11.30pm on tennis event days (during the Wimbledon Championships) when the relevant signs are displayed.

3. The general effect of the 'Waiting and Loading Restrictions & Parking Provisions' Order would be to Introduce 'at any time' no waiting and no loading restrictions In Somerset Road, between its junction with Newstead Way and Church Road on tennis event days.

4. A copy of the draft Orders, the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans of the roads affected by the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Monday to Fridays at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey.

5. Any person desiring to make representations or to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof to the Environment and Regeneration Department, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX or alternatively by email to trafflcandhlghways@merton.gov.uk quoting the reference ES/ TENNIS2018 to arrive no later than 22 June 2018.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton under the powers conferred by sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make the above mentioned Orders.

2. The general effect of the above mentioned 'Free Parking Places' Orders would be to: -

(a) designate parking places on the carriageway at the locations listed In Schedule 1 to this Notice in which vehicles authorised by the 'Disabled Persons' Order may be left for any period without charge;

(b) provide that the parking places would operate at all times, unless otherwise stated;

(c) specify, In respect of the parking places, that vehicles displaying in the relevant position, a disabled persons badge (commonly referred to as "the Blue Badge") Issued by any local authority under the provisions of the Disabled Persons (Badges for Motor Vehicles) Regulations 2000 may be left therein;

(d) provide that certain vehicles may wait In the parking places In certain circumstances, e.g. to allow persons to board or alight (maximum 2 minutes), to load or unload (maximum 20 minutes), etc.

3. The general effect of the "Parking Places Amendment" Orders would be to shorten In length or remove existing permit parking places In Byegrove Road, Colliers Wood; Cllve Road, Colliers Wood and In Links Road, Tooting to facilitate the Installation of disabled persons parking places In those roads.

4. A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, Including plans which Indicate each length of road to which the Orders relate can be Inspected Monday to Friday during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey.

5. Any person desiring to comment on the proposed Orders should send a statement In writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment and Regeneration Department at the Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX, or alternatively e-mail trafflcandhlghways@merton.gov.uk quoting reference ES/DPPP18, no later than 22 June 2018.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
DURHAM ROAD, SW20 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate water meter works in Durham Road, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. Whilst the works take place no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter or proceed in Durham Road, the east side southbound lane, between a point in line with the northern boundary of No. 82 Coombe Lane and its junction with Coombe Lane; or

(b) proceed southbound in Durham Road in the length of road described in sub-paragraph (a) above.

3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

5. Vehicular traffic affected by the oneway working should proceed by way of Spencer Road, Richmond Road, Avenue Road and Coombe Lane.

6. The Order would come into operation on Saturday 16 June 2018 and it is anticipated that the works would be completed within 2 days. However, the Order would remain in force for 1 month and its provisions would be re-introduced should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
TOYNBEE ROAD, SW20 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate detailed bridge inspection works in Toynbee Road, SW20, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter or proceed in Toynbee Road, between the western boundary of No. 77 Toynbee Road and the western boundary of No. 79 Toynbee Road; or

(b) wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the length of Toynbee Road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Toynbee Road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works.

4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed by way of Merton Hall Road, Kingston Road, Lower Downs Road and Toynbee Road and vice-versa.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any person or vehicle engaged in the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited roads or length of roads insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

8. The Order will come into operation at 10pm on Monday 11 June 2018 and it is anticipated that the bridge inspection will be carried out overnight between the hours of 10pm on Monday 11 June 2018 and 3am the following day. However, the Order will remain in force for two weeks should further inspection works be required.

NOTICE UNDER SECTION 90 A-F OF THE HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton propose to make the above mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.

2. NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that the Council also propose to install a raised table extending the full width of the road with a maximum height of 75 millimetres above road level and an on-off ramp gradient no steeper than 1:20 under section 90 A-F of the Highways Act 1980 at the location specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice.

3. The general effect of the "Waiting and Loading" Orders would be to further amend the relevant Merton (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Orders so that waiting by vehicles (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle for twenty minutes) would be prohibited at any time at the locations indicated in Schedule 2 to this Notice.

4. A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including a plan which indicates the lengths of roads to which the Orders relate and details of the raised table, can be inspected during the Council's normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden.

5. Any person desiring to make representations or to object to the proposed Orders or to the proposed raised table should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment and Regeneration Department, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX quoting the reference ES/CHURCH HILL SAFETY IMPROVEMENT no later than 22 JUNE 2018.
