Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: Barford Lane (Part), Downton; from property Parsonage Farm House for a distance of approximately 560m in a northerly direction to enable BT Openreach to access overhead network for customer connection. Alternative route via Barford Lane (unaffected length) - B3080 - A338 - A36 - Southampton Road -Shute End - Witherington Road and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order, which previously came into operation on 13 June 2018, will now recommence on 27 June 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required daily between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30 until 29 June 2018. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: A3094 (Part), Quidhampton, Wilton, Netherhampton and Salisbury; from its junction with A36 to its junction with Upper Street, Harnham to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway reconstruction, surface dressing and road markings. Alternative route via A36 - A338 - A3094 (unaffected length) and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order which previously came into operation on 13 February 2017 will now recommence on 28 June 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for 48 hours. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months. Wiltshire Council and Dorset County Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council and Dorset County Council intend to make an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: (a) A350 (Part) East Knoyle, Sedgehill & Semley and Donhead St. Mary;
from its junction with A303 to the Dorset county boundary; (b) A350 (Part), North Dorset; from the Wiltshire county boundary to its junction with the Ivy Cross roundabout to enable Tarmac to undertake carriageway reconstruction work including resurfacing, ironwork adjustment and road marking. Alternative
route via B3081 - B3092 - Castle Street - White Road - A303 - A350 (Unaffected length) and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 16 July 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required nightly between the
hours of 19.00 - 06.00 until 24 July 2018. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to
complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. Section 16B of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Various Temporary Traffic Restrictions: Chalke Valley History Festival, Broad Chalke and Bishopstone
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to:
Temporarily introduce a One-Way traffic restriction on the following roads in the specified directions: (a) Howgare Road (Part), Broad Chalke; from the county boundary in a northerly direction to its junction with Newtown. Direction of permitted travel northbound only;(b) Newtown, Broad Chalke; from its junction with C12 High Road to its junction with Howgare Road. Direction of permitted travel southwestbound only; (c) UC Road (Bury Orchard), Broad Chalke; from its junction with Howgare Road to its junction with C65 The Causeway. Direction of permitted travel northbound only. And to close temporarily to all traffic (access will be maintained for residents): (d) Knighton Road, Broad Chalke; from its junction with Newtown for its entire length; (e) Bulls Lane, Broad Chalke; from its junction with Howgare Road to its junction with C65 South Street; (f) Byway
3 (Part), Broad Chalke; from its junction with Howgare Road in an easterly direction to its junction with Byway 34, Bishopstone; (g) Byway 34, Bishopstone; from its junction with Byway 3, Broad Chalke to its junction with A354; (h) Bridleway 6, Broad Chalke; from its junction with Byway 1, Broad Chalke to its junction with Newtown; (i) Footpath 7, Broad Chalke; from its junction with Bridleway 6, Broad Chalke in a south-easterly direction to its junction with Footpath 35, Broad Chalke. The Order is made to ensure public safety during the period of Chalke Valley History Festival. The restrictions will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on Monday 25 June 2018 and it is anticipated that the restrictions will be in operation daily between the hours of 8am - 11pm until Sunday 1 July 2018. This Order, which previously came into operation on 12 March 2018, will now recommence on 25 June 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required for five days. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order has a maximum duration of 18 months.
