To all members of the Romsey Branch of the Royal British Legion Annual General Meeting Romsey British Legion Club at 7.00pm on the 11th January 2019
The Romsey Branch of the Royal British Legion has not had a functioning Committee for several years now. There will be an AGM on the 11 January at 7.00pm In the British Legion Club in Love Lane, Romsey. This will be the final attempt to form a committee. If this fails then the Branch will be forced to follow the Branch closure process. This includes the laying up of the Romsey Standard; once laid up it may not be paraded. If you are prepared to become a committee member or simply want to lend your support to the continued existence of the Branch then please come along to the AGM. If you want to know more about what committee membership entails and which officer posts are vacant then please leave a message on 01794 502819. If you cannot attend the AGM but wish to volunteer for the committee and/or express your support then also leave a message on this number.
The Romsey British Legion Branch and the Romsey British Legion Club are separate organisations and have separate committees.
The Branch is the Charity providing remembrance, benevolence and comradeship in its local area. The Club is the commercial organisation responsible for running and maintaining the premises in Love Lane.
